During your trial we’ll discuss everything to ensure your makeup suits not only your skin type & tone but also complements your hair, outfit and desired style.

The skincare brands used will be to suit individual skin types (or you can bring your own). All are great for sensitive skin types and if you prefer, can be completely organic. Please see list of Brands used for further details.

Products used will be written down and we’ll take photos during the session to ensure your makeup photographs well. These photos will then be sent to you so you’ve got time to make sure you’re 100% happy with your final look.

Your makeup on the day of the event can be done anywhere you choose as long as there's a little space & some natural light. Alternatively if you prefer, you can come to Shelley's home.

If you’re new to makeup or you'd just like to improve your makeup application and learn some tricks of the trade, why not try a makeup lesson? Lessons can cover anything you'd like whether it's simply makeup for skin tone & type and how best to apply it or makeup looks from certain eras like the 1950's...whatever you want! This can be a private lesson or bring along friends and make it a group lesson.
