Shelley is a qualified and highly professional Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist who works in all areas of makeup from Bridal, Editorial & Fashion, Film & TV or Commercial work; she has a real passion for what she does.
Her first foray into professional makeup was while working as an assistant Cinematographer for an MTV show in Sydney. After returning to the UK, she gained her diploma in Makeup Artisty and Hair Styling at the North East Makeup Academy before going into business for herself.
She has worked in all areas of makeup, even doing the makeup for a UK Prime Minister!
Fully BABTAC certified and insured (the UK's leading membership organisation for professionals working in the beauty industry), you can sit back and relax knowing you're in safe hands.
Always wanting to expand her skill set, Shelley is constantly researching, attending training sessions and gaining new qualifications. As a result, she is extremely knowledgeable about makeup and skincare.
In addition to using all the Pro Makeup Artists' favourite brands, Shelley is passionate about the environment, health and animals therefore is constantly on the look out and testing brands to find the best cruelty-free, eco-friendly, Vegan and skin safe products for her clients.
She is incredibly friendly and approachable, instantly putting her clients at ease, something that is reflected in all her 5 star reviews.

Shelley did my wedding day make up and it was absolutely perfect! I usually wear only eye make up and was worried about finding a supplier who could give me a natural look. Until I found Shelley that is! She applied the lightest possible foundation (so I wouldn't look washed out in photos) yet it didn't really look like I was wearing face make up at all! I still looked like myself only more polished and less tired! Shelley is lovely - very friendly at the trials, relaxed on the day and was totally calm about patching up my make up when I started crying! She was even kind enough to wait until I walked down the aisle to ensure my make up was perfect. She also gave my maid of honour and I advice about our general make up routines when asked and emailed us some links/info. I would highly recommend!

Shelley is a fabulous makeup artist, it's really that simple. I've been a wedding photographer for 15 years, so I've worked with many, many makeup artists. Picking Shelley for my own wedding was one of the easiest decisions I had to make. I'm 48, and wanted glamorous but understated look and she nailed it. My skin is very pale and her base colour choice was perfect, she chose colours that I would never have thought to use and have now permanently switched to as they are so so much better for me.
She also did my hair, which was beautiful and stayed in all day - something really not to be underestimated. The same goes for my sister and goddaughter.
Shelley is such a lovely person to be round too. Very calm and the absolute definition of professional. You genuinely could not be in better hands.

I am so pleased I found and booked Shelley to be make up artist for myself and my bridesmaids. I was looking for an artist who took a very natural approach and could make me look the best I could be without looking dramatic or over made up. Shelley has the knowledge and the experience to put myself and my wedding party at ease. I loved the make up trial (having never done anything like that before) and Shelley gave lots of helpful hints and tips. Shelley fitted in perfectly to our wedding morning, helping to make the atmosphere relaxed and friendly, exactly what I wanted on the morning. My sisters (my bridesmaids) looked absolutely beautiful and we received so many compliments throughout the day. Our make up was exactly what I wanted and it really did last until the very end of the day.
